The residence artists have at their disposal an 80m2 studio in Eskus. Studios have a flex parquet and a basic audio equipment. The studios cannot be blacked out and they are not soundproofed.
You can check photos of the studios and other premises (unfortunately the page is only in Finnish, click the text “Katso kuvia vuokrattavista tiloista!”)
Residency artists are expected to open up their work to colleagues and audience, for example through a work demonstration, workshop or artist talk. As part of the residency there will be a welcoming event (at the end of June) and Summer party (at the end of July), where this can be included. Our residency host will be helping with the facilitation.
June 28th - July 30th. Artists can apply to stay for two or four weeks. The two week period will start either on 28th of June or 12 of July.
The Residency offers an accommodation and studio space free of charge. The residency artists finance their own travel expenses.
