Finnish Theatre Data

TINFO collects and produces annual statistics on programming, audiences, personnel, finances, and salaries for theatre, dance, and circus organizations that are part of the state subsidy system for the performing arts. Audience, program, and financial statistics are also collected from professional groups outside the subsidy system.

The Esittävän taiteen tilastot ('Performing Arts Statistics') publications are available online or can be ordered in print. The performing arts statistics are used by, among others, funding bodies, policymakers, media representatives, and Statistics Finland. The statistics are also freely available for use by other researchers.
