HIAP Residency Programme // International Open Call for 2023-2024
HIAP – Helsinki International Artist Programme invites artists and other art practitioners to apply for residencies in Suomenlinna and Cable Factory for the years 2023-2024. The HIAP Residency Programme focuses on visual art but is open for art professionals from other disciplines as well. The programme offers time and support for developing new work in dialogue with the local art scene. The residency time can be used for open-ended research and experimentation, without the requirement to produce a finalised piece of work.
The available residency opportunities are:
* 3 month residencies for artists and other art practitioners in the HIAP Cable Factory live/work studios with a possibility to take part in HIAP Open Studios event
* 1-2 month residencies for artists, curators and other art practitioners in Suomenlinna residency apartments
* 7 and 11 month residencies for Finland-based curators and writers in Suomenlinna residency apartments, with a possibility to curate programme for HIAP Gallery Augusta
All HIAP residents can take part in the residency community activities and have 24/7 access to HIAP Suomenlinna facilities.
