OPEN CALL: Liikekieli.com is looking for texts addressing the relationship between dance, language and communication
Liikekieli.com is looking for texts addressing the complex relationship between dance, language and communication, as part of Dance and multilingualism -project funded by The Finnish Cultural Foundation.
The Dance and multilingualism project explores the relationship between dance and language in its many forms. As an outcome of the project Liikekieli.com aims to publish dance-related texts written in different languages as well as their translations and seeks new perspectives on how dance, language and communication are intertwined. In the project language and multilingualism are understood broadly, referring also to non-verbal forms of interaction and communication.
The selected texts will be published during the autumn 2022 and spring 2023. There is no predefined form or length for the texts. As an online magazine we can publish texts of different lengths, but unfortunately we are not able to publish multimedial publications.
Send your proposal latest by 30.11.2022 with a realistic writing schedule, short description of the topic/theme, and in which language you would be writing. Liikekieli.com will pay a writing fee from 150 to 250 euros.
