MeCOPES: Mechanisms of coping with pandemic-induced individual economic shocks
Are you or have you been an artist, an actor, a musician, a dancer, a DJ, a professional athlete, a guide, an animator? Do you or did you work behind the scenes, in a theatre, a museum, a cinema, a stadium, a concert, or an event hall? Or do you or did you own or run such a place or maybe produce or organize cultural or entertainment or sports events or private celebrations?
If you answered yes to any of these questions and you have been economically affected by the pandemic, we are interested to hear from you in the MeCopes: Mechanisms of coping with pandemic-induced individual economic shocks –study. The study is conducted by the European research alliance FORTHEM (Fostering Outreach within European Regions, Transnational Higher Education and Mobility, a project funded by European Commission) and in Finland the study is coordinated by University of Jyväskylä.
We aim to understand the impact of economic shocks and uncertainty on long-term mental health. We hope to understand how the crisis affects people and what might be good ways to deal with it – also in potential future crises. The research will provide new knowledge about factors that promote resilience during economic uncertainty.
To participate in the study, you must be at least 18 years old and work or have worked in the fields mentioned above.
We kindly ask you to fill out the online questionnaire by 31.3.2022. Answering all questions will take approximately 15 minutes. You can choose the language of the survey. Note, that you must register on the website before answering (e.g. via Google-account).
