Reality Bang to be premiered in Salzburg

 

Reality Bang is the next part in Oblivia’s Turn Turtle Turn series on the Anthropocene. Music, text and movement are employed to illuminate the “big bang of reality” and the present day reality we are currently facing (or, perhaps, sometimes do not dare to face). Reality Bang continues Oblivia’s explorations in the field of contemporary music theatre and the Anthropocene, again transposing the great questions of being human to the stage, applied with a light touch and fine wit.

 

Annika Tudeer, Timo Fredriksson and Anna-Maija Terävä are joined on stage by guest performer Juha Valkeapää (FI) as well as award-winning composer Yiran Zhao (CN/DE) and percussionist Nagisa Shibata (JP/DE).

 

Reality Bang is co-produced by ARGEkultur Salzburg, a long-time collaborator who also co-produced Oblivia’s previous works Verdrängen Verdrängen Verdrängen (2020) and Pleasure (2023).
