Sixth SAMPO Festival is almost here: August 24th – 28th 2022

We welcome all domestic and foreign guests to enjoy a wide variety of puppet theatre from several countries across Europe and beyond!

Our program this year features professional puppeteers from the United Kingdom, France, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Greece – and some surprises are still on the way! We will of course have several Finnish puppeteers performing on the festival also. There is performances for children and adults in the program.

In addition to the official program, there are workshops, films, outdoor performances, exhibitions, a masterclass, seminars and talks about puppetry.
