Specs and Normals * (Erkat ja tavikset) is the story of Olavi, a special needs kid who is trying to find his place in a regular class and of Roosa; a girl who has already given up on her education and travelled off to space. It is a painfully topical and current play about being different, giving an accurate portrayal of the real world of children today.
The play deals with this important theme with a fresh sense of humor and imaginative solutions, spreading hope for a better tomorrow.

This is a performance about a serious issue, about being different, bullying. With amazingly vibrant levels of sensitivity and beauty, a delicate friendship appears; the vastness of a star spangled night and dreams are presented – and wonder.

Specs and Normals isn't therapy theatre as you would expect. It is abundant with well observed life; heard and sensed children's theatre on their terms.
