Kauko was a successful actor, until he had a breakdown in the middle of a performance. Now, he has decided to make a final break for freedom; come up with a lethal disease and stage his own death – which is when an ex-girlfriend, Eeva, a journalist shows up wanting to make a radio show about him. As the old flame rekindles, Kauko and Eeva are caught up in a web of a lies, accusations, memories and dreams which becomes more and more difficult to get rid of as time passes.
This rancorous comedy lashes out at middle-aged men, who keep trying to run away from death, instead running after young women - without sparing the other sex either. The play has two delicious characters coupled with witty and funny dialogue that isn't afraid to be moving at times. It reflects upon our lives today, examining death and love.

"Kari Heiskanen's comedy digs mercilessly into the wilderness of a particular human relationship, bursting with black humor. It grabs a choke-hold on modern man's fear of death.”
