A mystic wanderer on an endless beach in remote Iceland stumbles upon a norwegian businessman about to jump off a high cliff. They leave together in an old Volvo. On the way they pick up a hitch-hiking local woman who claims to be a half-italian movie actress.
This odd gang of three embarks on an eventful journey through the Nordic Coutries finally – for reasons unknown - ending up in Helsinki with a gun in the air.
The roadtrip is filled with lies, deceits, the occasional sauna party and other crazy or sorrowful incidents and in the end everything has changed.
Blomqvist combines theatre and film in a way that feels interesting and new.
The formula is effective and quite earth-shaking.
There is also a valour in the characters, three small humans that need to
withstand under a detached sky.
