This online course is designed for individuals interested in creating original immersive work. Project ideas can be from any discipline, including performing arts, new technology, installation and visual arts, education, and any other field that is interested in incorporating immersive experiences into their practice. Projects at any step of development are welcome to join, and can use the opportunity to advance their work through a rigorous and supportive process. The process will involve whole group, small group and individual sessions focused on necessary skill-building, research, idea clarification, idea presentation, and feedback. The half-day schedule is designed to give participants time to work independently on their projects outside of course times, in order to benefit most from the creative process. In order for participants to receive direct feedback, the process includes a one 30-minute one-on-one session with Simón, as well as an opportunity to present projects to a panel of experts organized by AFAI (Association Française des Artistes de l'Immersif/French Association of Immersive Artists).
- Participants have the possibility to register without a specific project in mind. If you are applying with a project that's currently under development, please send a short description.
