PS Network Meeting #5

The final meeting of the Network was held in Oslo during the 20th edition of the Showbox Performing Arts Festival for Young Audiences on November 24 and 25, 2026. We assessed what we had done during the past year as a network and what we have learnt. We also discussed what we as a new Network could do in the future to continue working on exploring concept-based ideas with artists in our region. 

The highlight of our network meeting was meeting up with choreographers Ingri Fiksdal and Solveig Styve Holte for a discussion on their concept-based production HORDE, that offers paid artistic work to young people and adapts to new local contexts (local versions have been done in Oslo, helsinki and Kristiansand).  Horde shows how artistic work, professional development and social access can merge into somehting powerful. 

The Showbox festival opened with a concept-based production from Finland, Encounters. Oslo by the Feminist Secret Society of Helsinki. This edition of the production was made with young people.
