Artistic peer support at Esitystaiteen seura – Live Art Society

Esitystaiteen seura organizes an artistic peer support groups for professional artists. Groups (3-7 people) meet regularly, during six months. Peer support groups are a self-organizing platform for sharing practices and ideas and a forum for discussing topics around art and one's work in progress. The participants can define the shape of the meeting and the way they present their work, e.g. through discussion, walks, shared exercises, studio visits or demo.

First gathering will be the 5th of August at 17-20 at Kamari (Tehtaankatu 21 B, Helsinki). Gathering is facilitated by previous peer support group members. At first gathering we will be introducing the group principles, introduce ourselves, form the groups, and agree on the timetable. We kindly ask you to agree to uphold the guidelines for braver space.
